VISIT OF BISHOP RICHARD
We welcomed Bishop Richard to school today to 
celebrate the upcoming canonisation of Blessed John Henry Newman.  He said Mass, met our Reception children and Prayer Council and had lunch with staff.  He finished his visit with the blessing of our chapel and tea with parents and governors.

WHOLE SCHOOL TRIP TO LEGOLAND
We're very excited to be celebrating the canonisation of Blessed John Henry Newman with a whole school trip to Legoland on 25 October.  We are sending home a letter today with information about the trip which is being subsidised by the Diocese and our Parents' Association (for which a big thank you).  We are asking for a donation of £12 a child to pay for the coach - this will now appear on your Scopay account.  We also need 50 parent/grandparent helpers.  If you are able to join us please indicate this on Scopay and we will confirm your attendance.

INSET DAY - FRIDAY 4 OCTOBER
A reminder that the school is closed tomorrow for children.

RECEPTION WELCOME ASSEMBLY - WEDNESDAY 9 OCTOBER
Parents in both Orange and Red Classes are invited to the Welcome Assembly for our new Reception children at 9.00am.

AMETHYST CLASS MASS - FRIDAY 11 OCTOBER
Parents are invited to Amethyst Class's Mass next Friday at 9.00am.

SPORTS FIXTURES
Our first fixtures booked for 2019-2020 are now on the school calendar.  We will keep this updated with any additions or amendments.

SCHOOL NURSE
We have a couple of appointments left for parents to see our school nurse on the morning of Wednesday 16 October.  Please email the school office if you would like us to book you in.
