ACS Cobham International School : Open Day : Saturday 18th March
Over recent years more and more local families are choosing an international education for their child. At ACS International School Cobham we believe we offer a progressive wide ranging and attractive curriculum. One which allows each child to stand out and not blend in. We are a school which offers a diverse range of subject options as well as two different educational pathways with our International Baccalaureate and Advanced Placement offerings.
With 60% of our students now going onto UK universities both of these programmes offer an alternative to the A Level programme. It also prepares our students for university and beyond developing lifelong skills from our cross curricula approach.
We are broadly selective in terms of our admissions process with rolling admissions throughout the year but we don’t run an entrance exam programme which is very appealing to our parents reducing stress for our students. We achieve excellent results year on year with our average IB points last year being 37 which is equivalent to 2 x A* and 1 x A at A Level.

Safer Internet Day
The 20th anniversary of Safer Internet Day is on Tuesday 7th February. Each year, Safer Internet Day aims to raise awareness of emerging online issues and current concerns. This year the theme is ‘Want to talk about it? Making space for conversations about life online".
In school we will be making space for conversations about life online in Key Stage assemblies and in our classrooms, so that we can hear about the issues most affecting children online and equip them with the best ways to deal with them. The internet is amazing and has so much to offer children, but online safety skills are an increasingly important part of all our lives.
The Eikon Charity have partnered with Samsung and Internet Matters to create a free guide and free webinars that help parents and carers take simple steps towards keeping children safe online. To register for the free webinars and download the guide visit https://eikon.org.uk/safer-internet-day/
