On Monday, Year 2 took an exciting trip to Windsor Castle to help us with our learning in our history topic 'Who ruled the United Kingdom?' Each class spent time exploring the castle including the State Rooms and St George's Chapel. We took part in a workshop called 'Meet the Monarchs' where we got to role play the Coronation of King Charles. After lunch we were very surprised to see that the flag had changed, and the Royal Standard was flying high! We found out that King Charles had arrived to have lunch with President Zelensky. We kept our eyes peeled but sadly didn't get to see him!
