Y5 Art
Year 5 took their learning beyond the classroom, painting outdoors in the warm sunshine and drawing inspiration from the natural world around them. Like Kandinsky, they explored how colour and shape can express feelings, using the movement of the wind and warmth of the sun to guide their creativity. The children created their own visual 'symphonies' and 'improvisations', experimenting with bold lines, dynamic forms and vibrant palettes. Just as Kandinsky used music to evoke emotion, the children translated the rhythms of nature into expressive, abstract artworks full of energy and imagination.
