Red Class Assembly

Mission Week – Caring for Creation
During Mission Week, our Reception children in Red Class explored the theme of Care for Creation. Throughout the week, they discovered different ways they can care for God's wonderful world, learning that even small actions can make a big difference. As part of their learning, the children enjoyed an exciting trip to the farm, where they had the opportunity to appreciate and care for God's creatures firsthand.
The children also retold the story of Creation beautifully using puppets, confidently sharing their understanding of God's work in creating our world. To end the week, they created a thoughtful and reflective video celebrating the things they love most about God's creation. Using Makaton to accompany the song What a Wonderful World, they shared a heartfelt reminder of the beauty of the world around us and the importance of looking after it.
