Blue Class Forest School
Today Blue Class ventured out into our Forest School Area. We were met with a surprise dusting of blossom that had created a fluffy snow-like blanket on the ground.
The class had great fun learning about flint and steel, and putting their knowledge into practice. We learnt that it is very difficult to create sparks, but we had some very determined children and their patience paid off, creating their own flame on the cotton wool.
Teachers and children within the class were treated to gourmet mud meals consisting of apple pies, pizzas, pastas and soup.
They even took part in finding different rocks within the digging area and washing them down to try and identify them.
