This afternoon might have been chilly and our first taste of winter to come, but the children showed great enjoyment in the Forest this week. They were given a task to create a structure using natural resources. This structure was to stand on its own and shield a small animal from rain or the cold wind. 

The children thought about how this was to work and many models were built then re-built. Some were even decorated to make it more inviting for the creatures.
