This week our school council members have been researching our national patron saint, St George.  They spent some time in the IT suite finding out about his life. They presented their findings to the rest of the school through our key stage collective worships. The children reflected on how they could be brave, like St George, who stood up against the persecution of Christians in Roman times, as well as being brave enough to defeat a dragon and rescue a princess.  We didn't think we'd have the chance to fight a dragon, but did have time to reflect on when we needed to be brave.
