On Monday, 13 July 2026, Year 4 welcomed a guest speaker, Mrs Muwonge, to school. She visited us to talk about the Five Pillars of Islam as part of our Branch 6 Encounter topic, Islam. As a practicing Muslim, Mrs Muwonge explained the importance of the Five Pillars and how they guide the lives of Muslims around the world. The children enjoyed learning about the Islamic faith and hearing about her personal experiences. As a Catholic school, we value opportunities to learn about other faiths. This visit helped the children develop a greater understanding, respect and appreciation of the beliefs and traditions of others.
